“On Thursday, July 3, the approximate three-week demolition of old Sanborn Hall will begin. Sanborn Hall, constructed in 1964, has been a staple on the Pitzer campus and holds many fond memories for members of our community.
From 7 to 8 a.m., structural demolition will begin on old Sanborn’s living room and art studio. At 8:30 a.m., Dean of Students Jim Marchant will deliver a toast to the building on the southwest corner of the Sanborn parking lot prior to major demolition. Faculty, staff, students and alumni are invited to join Jim in a special roped off section as we bid a special farewell to our past.”
